I am inspired to teach children to meditate due to the benefits I received from meditation, when I started meditating 15 years ago. I wish I had learnt to meditate earlier in life. I am also inspired to teach due to the following quote from the Dalia Lama,  “If every eight year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence  from the world within one generation.”  

These two points of inspiration and the children I teach are my inspiration to teach meditation. 


I teach 4-18years old, in groups and also

1 to 1, in person and over Skype. 

I am DBS (Enhanced) Checked.

The classes consist of breathing techniques and grounding activities to help the children feel calm, present and grounded in preparation for quiet meditation. The number of activities decreases as they are able to focus and concentrate on each for longer and the time spent in quiet meditation gradually increases.  It is similar but not the same every week and evolves as the children do.  The benefit of attending weekly is that meditation starts to become a regular thing the children do, creating a habit and feeling with more ease and hence it can start to benefit them outside of the classes too. 


Group courses for kids and teens are during term time and run for 10 weeks or more across the term. 

1 to 1 courses for kids and teens are also available and are tailored to the needs of child.

Groups and 1 to 1 courses available. 

The group course runs over a month. It consists of 4 group sessions plus a 1 to 1 session.  


Additionally, I teach 1 to 1, so if the group classes or dates don't appeal, please email me, and we can tailor the course around your availability.

Morning Meditation circle is on Monday morning 9.15am for 9.30am start.

It will be 45-60minutes.

Each gathering starts

with a short introduction to a topic that will be the focus

of that  

meditation circle. 

Places must be booked in advance. Each gathering is by donation. Suggested donation is £7.
