Hayfever and Homoeopathy

Hayfever affects different people at different times of the year, depending on the pollen that causes the hay fever symptoms. Hayfever symptoms is a chronic problem from a Homeopathic prespective with regular flareups and hence for the best results it is best to see a qualified registered Homoeoapath. Apis:

Puffiness and swelling of the eyes and throat. Itchy stinging sensation of the eyes and throat. Sensitivity to heat, which make symptoms worse. Touch to makes the symptoms worse. Better usually for cool air, cool compress and movement.

Arsenicum alb:

Puffiness and swelling around the eyes with burning tears and sensitivity to light. Lots of sneezing, with small amounts of burning nasal discharge. Tightness and irritation in the chest, worse at night time. Worse for cold, night time and being out doors. Better or resting, being warm and being indoors.

Nux Vomica:

Hayfever symptoms are worse on rising. Irritable, bad tempered mood. Very sensitive to the slightest draught of cold air or strong smells. Eyes can be bloodshot, with itchy ears and throat. Symptoms of feeling hungover. Worse on rising, due to stress and for cold draughts. Better for humidity, , warmth, sound sleep, peace and quiet. Usually as the day progresses.

There are many Homeopathic remedies for hayfever, above are just three of the common ones. Homeopathy is individualised medicines, so different homeopathic remedies are given to the different people who are experiencing hayfever as their expression will be unique and hence individualise medicine is needed for a positive outcome.
